Why are you so bad at updating your site? For
one there's the fact that my home scanner can only take small formats
so I have to scan my bigger paintings in two stages and then mold them
together in photoshop. This leaves a very poor result because you can
see a shaded line from the scanning where the two pieces of the picture
are fixed together. I'm really not that happy with that so usually wait
until I get to scan them with a scanner that can take larger formats. Are all your work here on your webpage? No. I decided to add a more professional touch and to save some space by only displaying my best work here. Some of my stuff is not worth the effort to put on the internet and it doesn't matter if I'm the only one who thinks so. Here you´ll mostly find my most recent work. Is any of your artwork up for sale? Not at the moment. Have you ever done any exhibitions? Nope, but it's sort of a dream of mine that I someday will. What kind of tools do you use? All the things I used to create the work on my site are regular pencils (0,3 to 0,7 mm), indian inc, regular pens, nib pens, gel-pens, airbrushes, watercolors (I mostly never use anything except for the primary colors), parker inc, coating white, sponges, tooth brushes, masking oil and little cotton things that suck up fluid. Notice that I don't use all these tools for every painting/drawing I make. What kind of programs do you use? Photoshop 7.0. I seldom create art via the program though. I scan all my drawings and use it to enhance their look by experimenting with the settings if necessary. It has always been necessary because the scanner always messes up the lightning on the pictures. Who are your favorite artists/biggest inspirations? Check out the links.for my favorite artists. The ones not mentioned over there are Winsor McCay and M.C Escher. I'm pretty much trying to be my own favorite artist. I also take a lot of inspiration from video games, old comics and music; Jazz in particular. Did you make this site yourself? Yes. I constructed this site in Dreamweaver MX and everything you see here (links, banners, images) is done by me. My brother helped me with a lot, so some credit to him. If you see something that doesn't work with this site please be sure to let me know. And if you can offer me any advice on how to improve this page counter- and guestbook-wise, please let me know. Can I link to your site? Sure. You don't have to ask me for permission to link to my site but it would be nice to notify me so I can check out yours. |
