2008/03/12 Eu voltei para Suécia mas eu nunca queria. Queria ficar lá com meus amigos no Recife. I'm back from Brazil. Had an incredible time there and got a lot of new experience, sights and friends. It's hard to put it into words how much it gave me but let's just say it was the best trip I've made so far. I didn't just learn portuguese (it takes a lot more than a year of speaking it to learn it completely btw) but I also learned to smile and treat everyone with respect. I probably matured some more but it hasn't all sunk in yet so we'll see in the future. Didn't create any art there though I got to know a lot of inspiring artists there. Olinda, one of the cities where I lived is a desirable attraction for artists all over the world who hungers for inspiration.

AT LAST! I've worked very hard for this and it's finally finished! But only in swedish I'm afraid. Learn swedish. On another notice, I'm going away to work in Brazil for six months now on a project in Recife called Diaconia. I'm really looking forward to it. I'll be back in 2008. I see you then.
2007/05/19 So check this out! It's official now. Feels weird to finally have some of my work used in a commercial way. Sure it's not much and sure I don't make any money off of it, but it's something and I'm proud of it. I'm sorry I've been very lack-luster in the sense of bringing out more artwork and the reason for that is that I've channeled all my artistic attentions to a comic that's currently in production. It's called "Percy Fern" and it's an homage to a comic I made when I was twelve or something. It's very humorous and even though it's not even close to being finished, I am very proud of it. I won't let you in on any further details I'm afraid.
2007/03/01 So I'm back. I'd like to add finally here but no. I've had a great time in Portugal and I met so many interesting people, the children were the most interesting of all. I can't sum up six months worth of work sufficiently in words, so I'll leave you with the promise that sometime soon I'll add on to my OTW-section with a lot of creative works I got to make over there. And I did get to learn the language. I now speak portuguese, not exactly like a native but still pretty good for just having been there six months... Ate já!
2006/08/24 So I'm off... It's official. Man, I can't figure out what I'm thinking right now. I'm not worried but I'm sure I will be. It seems like a distant dream that'll hit you in the face in the form of reality soon. Did that sound pretentious? I don't know. Bags are packed, I'm ready...? At least I know that I mustn't have any particular expectations and that I shouldn't trust my initial impressions. Those are the only constants I have. I hope to get to learn the language, God, I hope I will! So no updates for a while... Yes, I can live with that too :) Be seeing you! And Congratulations in advance, little cousin Alexander. /Andreas
